Huddersfield Town matched their first team in making a fast start to the season, recording the biggest opening day win in the Northern Division when beating Guiseley Vixens 10-1. Evie Priestley was on target four times along with Tara Duce (2), Kathryn Halligan (2), Ella McCamon and Beth Allen. Ellie Gutcher scored a hat-trick in Middlesbrough's 6-3 win over Leeds Ladies, others coming from Savanna Robson, Abbey Loughran and Erin Dawson. Siobhan Jones' hat-trick fired Newcastle Utd to a 3-0 success at Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers defeated Bradford City 3-1 thanks to Courtney Turner, Georgia Stevens and Ellie Doggett. Eleanor Robinson netted for Hull City in their 1-1 draw with Sheffield Utd, who replied through Mya Webb.
 
Stoke City netted seven times without reply against Nottingham Forest in the Midland Division, Emily Curteis and Lucy Ridgway each bagging braces along with Sophie Taylor, Molly Bruton and an own goal. Elizabeth Mulvaney netted twice and Tiana Hicks added the other for Loughborough Foxes in their 3-1 victory at Sporting Khalsa. Coventry Utd won 3-2 away to Leicester City Women thanks to Amber Downs (2) and Sophie Bourton, meanwhile first half goals from Lauren Brown and Lauren James helped TNS Ladies beat Burton Albion 2-1.
 
Ava Rowbotham, Sarah Kempson and Kellie Larkin all hit hat-tricks for Lewes in their emphatic Southern Division win over Southampton Saints. Hayley Bridge, Izzie Burt, Henna Butcher and two own goals completed the tally. Portsmouth meanwhile won 5-1 against Charlton Athletic, courtesy of a goal apiece from Rebecca Bell, Demi Edwards, Gemma Hillier, Kayleigh Tonks and Charmaine True. Annie Hewitt, Holleigh Marsh and Jessica Stickley all scored for Denham Utd in their 3-1 victory over Milton Keynes Dons and AFC Wimbledon edged out C & K Basildon 2-1 thanks to Hayley Clark and Bernice Tully.
