Celtic continue to set the pace at the top of the Scottish Women's Premier League, staying three points clear following their 6-1 victory away to Inverness.
Spartans ran out 4-2 winners at Hamilton Academicals to remain close at hand in second place. Sarah Crilly gave Hamilton an early lead before Spartans replied with a double from Claire Crosbie. Sam McManus levelled the scores once again for the Accies but second half goals from Danni Pagliarulo and Diana Barry sealed the points for Spartans.
Glasgow City moved up into third by scoring twelve without reply against Forfar Farmington. Jane Ross was on target five times while Katharina Lindner and Leanne Ross weighed in with doubles. The tally was completed by goals from Suzanne Lappin, Suzanne Malone and Ruesha Littlejohn.
Rangers climbed up to fifth place, their highest of the season to date, after they were narrow 3-2 victors against Aberdeen.
Dundee Utd SC are out of the bottom two after picking up a much needed first win of the season, 2-1 over Boroughmuir Thistle.
