Keynsham Town are the early leaders of the Southern Division following their 2-1 victory away to Charlton Athletic.
Andreea Alexanbru gave the Somerset side a first half lead which was cancelled out by Harley Bennett on the half hour, but Brianna Oeser marked her comeback from a broken leg by grabbing the winning goal for Keynsham five minutes after the interval.
West Ham Utd sit in second place after they battled out a goalless draw with newly promoted Ipswich Town, who registered their first point of the season.
Portsmouth bounced back from their opening day defeat to win 3-2 against Crystal Palace. Beth Curtis put Palace in front after six minutes but Pompey hit back strongly before half time with goals from Rebecca Miles, Gemma Hillier and Kirsty McGee. Kenne Ogunneye reduced the deficit for Palace with ten minutes remaining but Portsmouth held out for the points.
Helen Bass kept up her excellent early season form as Colchester Utd won for the first time, 1-0 over Brighton & Hove Albion. The striker took her tally to four in two matches by scoring the only goal of the game in the fifth minute.
Honours were even as Truro City and Cardiff City shared a 1-1 draw. Leanne Lapham gave Truro the lead from the penalty spot, seventeen minutes from time, but Cardiff hit back to earn a share of the spoils with an equaliser by Lauren Townsend in the dying minutes.
